Payment schedules are not typically used with advertising orders, with possible exceptions being Web advertisements or other term-based advertisements.
If your organization does not enforce short-rate/rebate rules for Web advertisements, an insertion order for an advertiser running a Web advertisement (or any term-based advertisement) for one year could be defined as one order with a begin date and an end date reflecting that one year term. For that example, you may want to define a monthly payment schedule for the advertiser.
If your organization does enforce short-rate/rebate rules for Web or term-based advertisements, you can still define a contract for one 12-month advertisement as one insertion order with a payment schedule. If, however, the contract is for 12 one-month advertisements, you should create 12 one-month insertion orders and invoice each separately.
