The plug-in files need to be installed on each of your client's machines. Alternatively, a system administrator can install the plug-in using the group policy configuration. Refer to Installing Global Group Policy Configurations for more information.
The target audience of this section is someone who knows how to uninstall a program on your machine, unzip a folder, etc. If you do not know how to do this, you can still install the plug-in, but you should be using the Installing the Plug-In as an End User. This section includes greater detail and step-by-step instructions on how to unzip a folder, uninstall a program, etc.
To perform the client side installation:
If there is a previous version of the Outlook Plug-In installed on the client's machine, uninstall it before proceeding to the first step.
1. If necessary, install the add-in prerequisites.
This step is only necessary if this is the first time that the plug-in is being installed on the client's machine. If the plug-in has been previously installed, you can proceed to installing the plug-in by a system administrator.
2. Extract the files to your local machine.
4. Restart Outlook and verify the plug-in was successfully installed.
5. Configure the account settings.
