Using e-Checks in Personify360

An e-Check receipt can be used on the following screens in the back office:

·            Receipt Entry (FAR002)

·            Rapid Receipt Entry (FAR010)

·            Order Entry (ORD001)

·            Quick Pay (FAR011)

·            Insertion Order (ADV002)

·            Donation Entry (FND002_Donation_Entry)

·            Simple Gift Entry (FND002S_Simple_Gift_Entry)

On the web, an e-Check receipt can be used on the following controls:

·            Checkout control

·            Pay Now control

·            Pay Open Balances control

Although the system does not restrict the use of an e-Check receipt on the Donation Entry and Simple Gift Entry screen, it is NOT recommended that you use an e-Check receipt for FND pledges or recurring gifts.

As of 7.6.0, depending on the payment handler defined for the e-check receipt, the fields in the Bank Account Information section on all of the above screens will change. For PayPal (Telecheck), the following fields display:

·           Routing Number

·           Account Number

·           Check Number

·           Personal Identifier

·           SSN

·           Date of Birth

·           Drivers License No

·           State Issued

·           Name on Account

·           Address

·           Email (new and required as of 7.6.0)

·           Phone Number (new and required as of 7.6.0)

For Vantiv, the following fields display:

·           Routing Number

·           Account Number

·           Check Number (back office only)

·           Check Type

Values in the drop-down are populated based on the non-fixed codes defined for the FAR "CHECK_TYPE" system type. Additionally, check types will only display in this drop-down if the eCheck Processor (OPTION_1 column in APP_CODE table) field is set to "VANTIV".

·            Name on Account

·           Address

Unlike credit card receipts, credits (refunds) of e-Check receipts are handled as regular paper checks and are not done online.
