DCD Product Overview

DCD products are digital products that can be purchased and downloaded by your customers via your website.

As of 7.5.0, Personify supports the ability to sell online access membership products to your members. For example, if your organization provides access to a publisher's website, you can provide access to this information to your customers who purchase the online access membership. The downloadable files associated with a DCD product are considered components of the product. When setting up your DCD product, you need to configure a way for your members to download the files (components) from the Web. To do so, upload the DCD download file(s) to the application server and set up the component options. This section details how to set up each configuration option mentioned above. There are no restrictions on the files that you can attach. However, there will be instances where users will not be able to download the file from the web page because of antivirus/malware/internet security suite that it is blocking or quarantining the file they are attempting to download
