ABC Audit Design

Personify designed the ABC audit reports to be customizable and to allow for corrections to get the proper counts. It allows for the storing of reported data for auditing purposes, as well as support for “Digital Editions.” ABC requires the “Publisher’s Statement Forms” (Ivory Form and Blue Form, which are defined in the previous section) in which there are eleven paragraphs:

1.    Average figures for the period covered.

a.    Average Qualified Paid circulation broken down by individual, association, sponsored individually addressed, or multi-copy same addressee subscriptions. A line item for Single-Copy Sales is available for those publications claiming such circulation.

b.    Average Qualified Non-Paid Circulation in a similar fashion to 1(a).

c.    Average Non-Qualified Circulation.

d.    Average Qualified (Paid and Non-Paid) Circulation of regional and demographic editions.

2.    Qualified (Paid and Non-Paid) Circulation by Issue and Qualified Non-Paid removal and additions.

3.    Demographic Information of Analyzed Issue’s Qualified (Paid and Non-Paid) Circulations.

a.    Business/Occupational analysis

b.    Age of source data analysis

c.    Mailing address analysis

4.    Geographic analysis of Analyzed Issue’s Qualified (Paid and Non-Paid) Circulations on a state-by-state basis.

5.    The Price Data analysis of the sales of total paid new and renewal subscriptions during the period analyzed.

6.     The Term Data analysis of the sales of total paid new and renewal subscriptions during the period analyzed.

7.     The Sales Channels analysis of the sales of total paid new and renewal subscriptions during the period analyzed.

8.     The Premium Usage analysis of the sales of total paid new and renewal subscriptions during the period analyzed.

9.    Additional circular information about the Post Expiration Copies included in Paid Circulation.

10.  Additional circular information about the Renewal Analysis of Paid Circulation.
