If a solicitor is no longer assigned to a prospect, best practice is to end the relationship.
It is NOT recommended that you delete the prospect record from the solicitor in order to maintain a history of the relationship.
To end a solicitor's assignment to a prospect:
1. From the Solicitor Maintenance screen, search for and select the appropriate solicitor for which you want to reassign prospects to a new solicitor.
Alternatively, from the Prospect Moves Plan Management screen, search for and select the appropriate prospect and click the Solicitor link on the Prospect Moves Plan Information tab to open the Solicitor Maintenance screen.
2. Click the Prospects tab.
3. Select the appropriate prospect from the list.
4. From the Prospect Detail section, select an End Date.
Adding an end date to the solicitor's assignment to the prospect from the Solicitor Maintenance screen will NOT add an end date to the prospect relationship record on the Prospect Moves Plan Management screen.
5. Click Save.
