Working with Web Modules

This section provides detailed information on web modules and how they are used in e-Business. Web modules, also referred to as web parts, let you dictate not only what information appears in your website or Web application, but where on the page it should appear.

e-Business provides you with extensive list of web modules. These DNN modules allow you to offer specific functionality for your clients, based on their particular needs. The Web administrator is responsible for installing, or loading, the desired web modules into your organization’s instance of e-Business. You can then install a web module onto an existing page (or new webpage) and then configure its behavior and appearance using the settings, or controls, for that particular web module.

Once the web module is installed and configured, your e-Business website offers all the desired functionality to your customers.

Before you start working with web modules in e-Business, you will need to adhere to two requirements: (1) Verify that the API Library is installed and (2) Verify that the desired web module is installed. Please note that the Alternate Customer web module must be installed on all web pages.
