Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

As of Personify360 7.6.0, enhancements have been made to the Personify360 .NET web controls to support Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

SEO is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine's "natural" or unpaid ("organic") search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users.

The 7.6.0 SEO enhancements include:

·            The population of alternative text for images displayed in the Product Detail and Meeting Detail controls.

·            The population of metadata – title, description, and keywords – for the pages on which the Product Detail or Meeting Detail controls exist.

·            The display of a friendly URL for the pages on which the Product Detail or Meeting Detail controls exist.

The SEO enhancements are applicable only to DNN. If you are using a CMS other than DNN, the SEO enhancements will not apply.
