The section below details how to set up the Meeting Detail page on your website, so that group managers can register their group for a meeting on the web. These instructions apply for Corporate and Staff Management, Committee Management, and Chapter Management. In addition, the instructions are intended for a user with web admin/host privileges.
You only need to drop the Buy for Group control onto one page and set the Meeting Registration for Group URL parameter for the Meeting Detail page to the Buy for Group page's URL. In addition, if you are configuring multiple workflows, you only need to create one Buy for Group page since the functionality for Corporate and Staff Management, Committee Management, as well as Chapter Management has been bundled into the Buy for Group control.
In order for the Register Managed Group button to display on the Meeting's Detail page, the following steps/conditions need to be configured/met:
1. Create a "Buy for Group" page. On this page, drop the Buy for Group control and configure its control settings. Please note, you only need to drop the Buy for Group control onto one page and set the Buy for Group to Cart Page URL parameter for the Product Detail page and set the Meeting Registration for Group URL parameter for the Meeting Detail page to the Buy for Group page's URL.
2. Next, you need to create a PWF parameter the Buy for Group page's URL that you created in step 1, as highlighted below. Please note, if you already created a PWF parameter for the Buy for Group page, disregard this step. See Setting Up PWF Parameters for more information.
3. On the page where you dropped the Meetings Detail control, you need to set the Meeting Registration for Group URL parameter to the Buy for Group PWF parameter that you created in step 2, as highlighted below. See Configuring the Web Settings for the Meeting Detail Control for more information.
4. Click Save.
