Preventing Duplicate Customers

To minimize the amount of duplicates received, you should always perform a search for the customer before creating a new customer record. Your association can customize any search screen using Studio Tools to make them more meaningful (such as adding City, State, or Email fields).

 

You can also enter aliases at any time for a customer with multiple names, including maiden names, hyphenated names, and acronyms. This will ensure the customer’s name will display in a search for all possible variations of his or her name.
