FND660 – Pledge Reminder Letters

This batch process creates a listing of pledge scheduled payments due on or before a user-defined date. This list includes the current amount due, past amount due, and total pledged to campaigns, funds and appeals. The pledge scheduled payments selected are based on the Processing Date set by FAR680.  The process does not select pledge scheduled payments are not being paid by credit card or direct debit.

The process can also generates reminder letters for donors and a merge file you can use for creating reminder letters. Reminder notices are generated for donors who have a current pledge due for that month and for donors who have a past due pledge payment prior to the current month. When run in Production mode, the process also updates the Order Payment Schedule Payment Status to “Notice Printed.”

·            EDIT - The process creates a list (the sample report below) of pledge transactions completed as of the As of Date with the total amount pledged, the current pledge amount due, and any past due pledge amounts.

·            PROD - The process creates the sample report, prints reminders and/or creates an export file (based on Create Letter and Create Export File parameter values). Prior to 7.3.0, the process updates the order payment scheduled payment status code to “notice printed.” As of 7.3.0, the payment status remains as “pending,” but the Notice Printed Date gets updated to the current date.

·            REPRINT - The process provides the list, prints reminders, or creates an export file for selected records that have already had a notice printed.

The FND660 process defaults to selecting all campaigns, funds, and appeals. You can limit the batch job to just one pledge product by selecting a specific campaign, fund, or appeal from the respective batch job parameter. In order to select more than one pledge product, but not all, you need to enter a filter criteria.

Additional parameters were added in the 7.2.1 release to accommodate Address Change Service functionality. Please see Address Change Service for more information.
