Configuring Multi-Currency for e-Business

The Personify360 application supports two options for your organization to handle multiple currencies on the Web.

·            Multiple portals where each portal supports a single currency

·            One portal to support multiple currencies

 

By creating multiple portals for a single website, you can restrict each portal to a single currency. This option works best if you want to keep the transaction records completely separate for each currency or your organization wants to create a different user experience, such as language, product listing, home page, for each currency accepted. This option is also best if you only want to support a minimal number of currencies, such as two, so that you are not required to maintain too many portals.

 

If your organization chooses to allow a single portal to support multiple currencies, you allow your users to view all products in any currency currently added to the e-Commerce batch. Only currencies added to the batch are available for your customers to select as their “Preferred Currency".
