The Personify Spectrum Platform Interface supports the following Pitney Bowes Business Insight products:
· Pitney Bowes Spectrum Technology Platform – premise-based software installed locally, or hosted by Personify. Use this product to validate, correct, standardize, and format customer address data. The Spectrum Platform offers a variety of modules that perform specific processing functions. Currently, the Personify application supports the following:
· Universal Addressing Module – module focused on address quality that standardizes and validates addresses while also improving the mail’s deliverability. If an address meets the Universal Address’ standards, mail to that address is more likely to be delivered in a timely manner. The module’s components can work with U.S., Canadian, and international addresses as long as you are licensed for the appropriate Universal Addressing database. By using this module, you can also qualify for significant postage discounts.
There is no way to control the output of PBBI address validation, which uses the Post Office standard. If necessary, you can manually change the address.
The system passes the following parameters to the Spectrum server while validating the address: AddressLine1, AddressLine2, AddressLine3, AddressLine4, City, State, PostalCode, and Country.
· Advanced Matching – module that matches records between and/or within any number of input files. You can also use the matching engine to match on a variety of fields including name, address, name and address, or non-name/address fields, such as social security number or date of birth.
· Enterprise Geocoding (US) – module that performs address standardization, address geocoding, and postal code centroid geocoding. You can enter an address and get outputs such as geographic coordinates, which can be used for detailed spatial analysis and demographics assignment. You can also enter a geocode, a point represented by a latitude and longitude coordinate, and receive address information about the provided geocode.
· Location Intelligence – module that provides spatial analysis that allows you to determine the relationship between a location and areas or points of interest. It also can find driving and walking directions between points. You can perform a variety of spatial calculations with the Location Intelligence Module, such as area, union, intersection, point in polygon, and more.
