Processing Chargebacks

When a credit card company issues a chargeback, you need to enter the chargeback in your Personify360 database to account for the payment reversal.

To process a chargeback:

1.    Open the order in the Order Entry (ORD001) screen.

2.    Click Customer Financial Analysis from the Common Customer Requests task category.
The Customer Financial Analysis screen displays.

3.    Select the Receipt Analysis tab.

4.    Highlight the appropriate receipt.
To view more information on the receipt, click the + next to the line.

5.    Click Reverse Receipt.
The Receipt Reversal screen displays.

6.    The Chargeback checkbox is checked by default because the application knows the receipt settled with CCP610 already, so it knows it is a chargeback rather than a void.

7.    Select the Reversal Date.

8.    If necessary, enter any Comments.

9.    Click Reverse Receipt.
The Receipt Reversal screen closes.
